Welcome to my website…

A place I created for my “extended” family: my family, friends and everybody else who likes to follow my travels and mountaineering adventures. A lot of people have been asking me lately if they could see my pictures and read my travel diaries. This website is the perfect solution. In the past I had to tell people that “the pictures were in my albums and the stories on my bookshelf”. Now everybody can enjoy them!

A big thanks has to go to my friend Rob Mackintosh from Normanhurst – Australia as he created this beautiful place. We both hope you can and will enjoy this place: a place where you can find stories, cool pictures and maybe some ideas for your own travels. Who knows?

So far I have had the luck of visiting some of the most spectacular and inspiring places on this planet. You can find the stories (translated from the original “Dutch” travel diaries) and the best pictures online. Not only my travels but also my family and friends have found a well deserved place on my website as they made me the person I am today! It’s to them I dedicate this place…
